      I received my first ever MyChild doll in 1986, when I was just 9 years old.   


                         

I really loved that darling doll.  I couldn't wait to get a little boy. Of course, as I now know, little boys are a bit harder to come by and I never got one.  But I did get another precious little piggy-tail girl that I love just as much.  And so it was, for 21 long years I held onto my girls, until just this month (December 2007) when I discovered the wonderful world of ebay and my obsession has begun!!!

I have no idea what happened to her original clothes or even remember what they looked like.

She still has her original dress, socks, and shoes (these are not the originals). I washed, re-parted and re-styled her hair.   also did a little make-up retouching.  Like new!

And here's my little sister, who oddly enough I owe a lot of my MC love to! She always loved my two dollies too, so she snatched them from me when I was in college. Luckily, because of her, they were never lost through all my moving about.
 
SO, as a show of gratitude, I promised her two little girls of her own that look just like her!
